terms of service

By requesting a commission from me (“I”, “Cat”, “the Artist”), you (“the Client”) are agreeing to be bound by all Terms outlined in this agreement.
This agreement takes effect when the Client’s commission request is accepted.
All business correspondence will be handled via emails or Discord.

Payment Terms

  • For commissions, payment is 50% upfront and 50% on completion of the artwork.

  • I take payments through PayPal or Ko-fi.

  • Additional charges apply for extra characters, detailed backgrounds, or detailed props.

revision and approval process

  • changes must be requested during the rough sketch phase.

  • the client will be able to choose from 2-3 sketches if they do not have a concrete idea.

  • up to 2 minor revisions are free during the sketch stage, as well as 1 during the lineart stage.

  • Any major changes or revisions after the coloring stage will incur a fee.

timeline and deadlines

  • depending on the complexity of the client's request, the commission will be completed in 2 to 4 weeks after the deposit has been cleared.

  • deadlines are subject to change due to personal emergencies, heavy workloads, or client communication delay.

copyright and usage rights

  • I have the right to my artwork and have the right to include it in my portfolio or social media. however, if the client wishes to keep the art private it is absolutely not a problem, so long as it is stated in advance.

  • Through commissioning me, the client has access to Personal Use rights which include the following: 1. if credited properly, the artwork can be uploaded to the Client's personal gallery profiles or social media. 2. Basic cropping or zooming for social media icons, headers, etc. 3. Printing out for display in the Client’s home.

  • The client does not have access to rights for other than personal use. A client cannot claim my art as their own.

  • So long as the client does not pay for an extra merchandise or commercial fee, they may not use it for those purposes.

  • my art is forbidden from being minted as NFTs or fed into generative AI systems.

refunds and cancellations

  • initial deposits are non-refundable if the client decides to back out midway.

  • I reserve the right to refuse or cancel a commission at any time, in which case a full refund will be issued.

We process this data through the external service provider Jotform (Jotform Inc., 4 Embarcadero Center, Suite 1400, San Francisco, CA 94111, USA). The processing of this data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, provided that your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (e.g., a quote for a commission).
We have configured your settings in Jotform so that all form data is stored and processed exclusively on EU servers (Frankfurt, Germany). A corresponding Data Processing Agreement (DPA) has been concluded with Jotform.
